Duty of Care Measures
GPA Midstream and GPSA are committed to the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, employees and hotel staff supporting the GPA Midstream Convention. In partnership with the Marriott Rivercenter and Marriott Riverwalk, we will adhere to all federal, state and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations.
We will continue to monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and, if and when necessary, will update our meeting policies to ensure the safety of our attendees.
As of June 30, 2021:
- Attendees will not be required to wear masks during convention functions. GPA Midstream will make clean, disposable facemasks available for those who prefer to wear a mask.
- GPA Midstream will offer a hands-free check-in experience to minimize touch points during the check-in process. Attendees may simply scan their provided QR code with their phones to check in and print their badges. Attendees will then grab their lanyards to complete the check-in process. Our event app will be available for event-specific materials and information.
- Hand sanitizer will be available in meeting rooms and at the registration and check-in area.
- Signage will be placed throughout the venue advising required health and safety protocol and attendee behavior expectations.
GPA Midstream remains mindful of those who could still be facing travel restrictions or those who may be uncomfortable traveling and attending a large event. Many of our speakers have committed to recording their presentations, which GPA Midstream will make available for on-demand viewing Oct. 18 – 29 for a fee. Those that register for the San Antonio event will receive full access to the recorded presentations at no additional charge.
